'Kebabs. Done Right' is the slogan for 'Babs, a new central Glasgow restaurant. From the team behind Bread Meats Bread, the restaurant put the fancy back into the classic dish, with ingredients sourced largely from Scotland and with a focus on ethical production.
What we say:
Opened up on West Nile Street, 'Babs is taking our favourite 4am drunk dish and turning it into the hottest new foodie plate. The kebab meat is cooked on a charcoal grill and seasonal ingredients are ethically sourced. Interiors are similarly as sumptuous with swirling tiles, rich blue colours and intimate booths.
