Where to Watch the Bank Holiday Footie Finals in Glasgow

It's Champions League Final weekend, and while there may not be any British teams lifting the cup on Saturday, anything could happen in the all-German affair. Whether Bayern Munich take it home as expected, or Borussia Dortmund pull one out of the bag, chances are, your telly at home just won't do the match justice. Then Sunday sees Celtic and Hibernian go head to head in the Scottish Cup Final in Hampden Park, and if you haven't managed to nab a ticket, watching it on the big screen is the next best thing. Boot loads of sports bars and pubs in Glasgow will be amped up for the games this Bank Holiday Weekend; and with a killer atmosphere and a pint in hand, you're onto a winner no matter who you've backed.

Committee Room No 9 is a lively pub in Merchant City to catch the match

From 4pm on Saturday, Committee Room No 9 will be selling beer buckets and pitchers from £10 and chippy supper deals for two. Get there early or book ahead for the good seats, with booths set to fill up fast. Booths are up for grabs for the Sunday game too.

Diamond Dolls will show Champions League on the big screen, where punters can take part in the sweepstakes, with half time pies. Sunday will see a big celebration night featuring recorded highlights of the Scottish Cup Final. The club will open extra early for sports fans, from 6pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday.

Diamond Dolls are on to a winning combo with their footie, pies and lady-filled long weekend

Faktory in the West End are getting in on Saturday's footie action too, with a host of packages available for watching the Champions' League. Their private party rooms can cater for large groups wanting to watch the match in style. With food served 'til 10pm and a raging party afterwards, Faktory will be one of the most lively spots in the West End to catch the final. The Celtic Hibernian match will be screened in Faktory on Sunday too.

Golf Lounge are waging a bet on the Champions League, the Glasgow sports bar are giving away an hour of golf and a bucket of Heineken to the person who can guess the time of the first goal of the Champions League final. Manage to guess the scorer as well and win an additional bucket of Heineken to boot. Why not take in a game of golf while you watch a game of footie?

Play sport and watch sport at The Golf Lounge in Glasgow City Centre.

If you fancy your all-German final with a dash of Irish, Waxy O'Connors will also be screening the Saturday game, the sprawling pub means there'll be plenty of room for footie fans to park.

If you're feeling peckish, Curler's Rest are doing a pint of German beer and a burger for a tenner during the Dortmund, Munich game, while on Sunday, punters should pop to Curler's for their legendary Sunday pub roast accompaniment to the footie.

The food in Curler's tastes as good as it looks. And that's pretty dang tasty.

Young 'uns bound for Sauchiehall Street can catch the match at Campus on Saturday with special food and drink offers for both the Champions League and Scottish Cup finals. Linger on after Celtic, Hibernian for their big Bank Holiday Sunday session.

And if you've managed to nab yourself a ticket for the final in Glasgow on Sunday, why not head to a Southside hot spot like the Bungo for a few scoops en route?

Sorted. So all you need to decide is who are you up for, the Germans or eh, the Germans?
