An Odd Request...

Our favourite whiskey den in Glasgow City Centre has put a very strange request up on their Facebook page. It seems the Glasgow pub is looking to add to it's rare whisky collection and add bottle number 561 to the shelf. The problem? They need a non-Muslim Glaswegian off to Pakistan to it...

"Is anyone travelling to Pakistan any time in the next year? The odd requirement is that the intrepid traveller can't be Muslim. The Murree Brewery in Rawalpindi has been brewing since 1860, before Pakistan itself came into being. It also distills whisky and has a 21 year old single malt in their range. But the Pakistani government, while tolerant of a business that existed before them, prohibits export, or indeed sale to anyone who is religiously forbidden to consume alcohol.

SO, I need someone who's going there and who can buy booze. Simple, really...

Simple indeed. So, can any DNM readers/valiant explorers help The Pot Still out in their quest for this coveted bottle? We're sure there'd be a dram in it for you.
