And luckily, our city boasts some great pubs and bars that take quittin' time tipples seriously... so if you're looking for a great place for after work drinks in Glasgow, here's a few of our faves. 




Bar 91

Bar91 offers more than just drinksNestled in Merchant City, this iconic Glasgow bar is the perfect spot to enjoy live music and indulge in culinary delights.

Whether you're enjoying a gin and food pairing or sipping a glass of wine with friends, the atmosphere is always welcoming and vibrant. With events ranging from jazz nights to whiskey tastings, this place has it all. 

Berlinkys

Whether you're after a quick post-work pint or a lively night out, Berlinkys is the place to be. You'll find this vibrant spot on Sauchiehall Street, promising top notch drinks and a regular lineup of live music.

Expect two stories of high-energy fun, with long wooden tables and benches to dance on. Hungry? They serve a wide range of juicy burgers, sandwiches and pasta dishes too. 

Browns Brasserie & Bar Glasgow

Browns, with its location on Georges Square is a popular destination for after work drinks in Glasgow among Merchant City professionals. A sophisticated after work hangout, Browns offers fantastic food and an extensive selection of cocktails and wines for those looking to unwind after work. 

Malones Glasgow

Looking for a fresh pint of Guinness after work? Then head to Malones, a vibrant Irish bar on Sauchiehall Lane. Expect a friendly atmosphere and a regular lineup of live music, including Irish trad sessions and a range of emerging local artists performing.

You can also enjoy live sports alongside your drinks, from football to rugby and boxing. And if you fancy a bite to eat too? Then dig into loaded fries, fish and chips or a spicy bean burger.

BrewDog Merchant City - Glasgow

Known up and down the country for their excellent range of craft beer, BrewDog is a top choice for drinks with friends or colleagues. Their Merchant City site is decked out in industrial-style decor, from metal beams to leather booths and quirky neon signs.

There are 30 different taps of beer on offer, as well as plenty of cans and bottles. Hungry? Get stuck into the likes of smoked bacon burgers, Korean loaded fries and Buffalo cauliflower.

The Pot Still

The Pot Still always promises to be a busy little bar at clocking off time in Glasgow. With many punters popping in for one or two on the way home from work, it's a great spot for a wee snifter and some big banter after another long day in the office.
