Previously known as The Melville, this old school Edinburgh boozer has been given a fresh lick of green paint and an extensive new wine offering to please even the pickiest of aspiring sommeliers.

In terms of food, expect hearty dishes like boeuf bourguignon and the regularly-changing fish of the day. For a lighter bite, there is a selection of exciting and innovative small plates - think prawn and cheese risotto, goat cheese panna cotta and seared pigeon breast. Ideal for sharing...or not. 

Located on William Street with dark and cosy copper interiors, The Green Room is the perfect place to huddle up and wine down after a long day. Open Monday to Sunday from 11am till late, don’t blame us if you pop in for a coffee and stay for a Cabernet.
