Home to one of the best universities and a pretty large student population, it's no wonder why there are plenty of off-the-wall places to drink around the city. Whether it's hidden speakeasies serving bespoke concoctions, or elegant rooftop terraces for those perfect sky-high sips, we've rounded up the best cool and quirky bars in Cambridge.

Pint Shop Cambridge

Situated in the city centre, Pint Shop is a cool bar that blends modern interiors with the charm of a traditional pub. Expect rustic interiors, made up of wooden furniture and simple, industrial-inspired decor, with large windows that let in lots of natural light.

There's also an outdoor terrace that's perfect for the summer, with plenty of refreshing pints to enjoy. Hungry? Check out their delicious menu of double cheeseburgers, chicken shawarma kebabs, creamy courgette linguine and so much more.

Revolution Cambridge

A lively destination that knows how to throw a party, Revolution is open all afternoon and evening throughout the week. Whether you're coming down or a few chilled cocktails or to dance the night away, there's something for everyone here.

They serve a varied and delicious food menu, ranging from bacon cheeseburgers to truffle mushroom pizzas and spicy corn ribs. Plus, there are bottomless brunches too.

MillWorks

Fancy a couple of after work drinks in a mill house? We thought so. Located on Newham Road, MillWorks is pretty unique when it comes to interiors. Enjoy sipping on a martini or two, all while scoffing down some dishes from the grill, including lamb shops and a flat iron steak.

Douce

Vowing for the title of quirkiest Cambridge bar? It definitely has to be Douce. This beaut drinking den also doubles as a boutique hair salon, meaning you can grab top products at the same time as sipping organic wine, draught beer and more. Plus, there's a food truck parked outside too.
