The Pav Tav

Description

Something of a raucous student staple on the Brighton pub scene, The Royal Pavilion Tavern (most commonly known as The Pav Tav) is host to a regular turntable of live gigs and top floor shindigs.

Split between two venues, The Pav Tav boasts a main pub and top floor party room the like. Whilst the main bar boasts a classic pub feel with worn furnishings, a classic maroon hue and a central bar for pocket friendly liquid fare, the second floor is another matter all together. A purple party arena, this 200 strong club room is host to regular party night thanks to it's own bar, booths and booming dance floor.

Popular with Brighton's alt-student scene, you wont be hard pushed to hear the thrash of a metal gig through its doors. From regular local bands and out of towners to appearances on the Great Escape roster, this pocket friendly boozer is a must-visit for those of heavy musical inclinations and live gigs alike.
