Join us for an explosion of flavour at our heartwarming monthly African feast in Brighton.
At our supper club, we share food and create new friendships in such an intimate setting. I create a wonderful marriage of cuisines, inspired by my African upbringing, with global influences as seen in my food column in the Guardian Nigeria, and recipes contributed to the BBC. The menu is full of indulgence and a celebration of African provenance and also lovely local British produce, with legumes, vegetables, and puddings cooked with wondrous spices. In true African spirit, we feast on sharing plates at the center of the table.
The menu always changes with the season. I will share the final menu a few days before our event. If we are sold out and you will like to be on the waiting list for the next supper club, please fill out the form below. I am Lerato, an African food writer on a mission to feed all the wonders of African culture and food with contemporary African recipes as seen in my Guardian Ng food column and recipes contributed to the BBC. I am deeply influenced by both my African heritage and British family life in Sussex. After hosting cooking shows aired across Africa, I enjoy exploring and sharing, the multiplicity and diversity of African food at cookery classes, events, and talks across the country.
