Food lovers! Join me on the Brighton seafront for a heart warming African feast to celebrate the start a new promising year in 2017.

I have a heart warming menu for us to tuck into in our romantic seafront private room.

It brings me real joy to be able to bring people together in such divisive times; wonderful people who share my passion for food. At my supper clubs we celebrate rich African culture through food created from a beautiful mix of seasonal, local and well sourced ingredients alongside great British produce.

Inspired by my experiences, family and environment I create a wonderful marriage of cuisines. My menu is full of indulgence and a celebration of African provenance, featuring Ghanaian cocoa, Ugandan organic vanilla beans, West African nut butters, mangoes, with exquisite teas from Malawi, Kenya and South Africa. A medley of local fresh fruits and vegetables cooked with exotic African produce and spices are at the heart of my feasts.

There is a wide selection to enjoy as many of my recipes are fruit and vegetable based, with substitutions used where necessary for vegans, vegetarians or gluten free diets. Feel free to discuss the menu with me and I will ensure you are well taken care of.

I look forward to sharing this adventure with you all and creating new traditions through our shared love for great food.

See you at the table xx

WILD AFRICA MENU - Winter 2017

SOUP

Pumpkin Spice Peppersoup

Pepper soup is a popular dish at my supper club and I have added delicious pumpkins to this soothing, spicy and aromatic soup cooked with a home blend of exotic West African spices, peppers and herbs, such as grains of selim or uda pods, calabash nutmeg... Peppersoup is a wonderful winter warmer as it is traditionally drank for its soithing effect. gf/nf/v

MAIN

Plantain Pie & Red Wine Gravy

This is one of my favourite dishes. It is trully sumptuous and the sweet plantains are the perfect toppings on a bed of minced beef, heritage carrots and potatoes with the most amazing spices and herbs such as grains of paradise, nutmeg and cloves.

Plantain Chestnust Mushroom Pie

This vegan pie is rich with portobello mushrooms, chestnut mushrooms heritage carrots and potatoes. V

Jollof Rice with Spice Roasted Broccoli

Fluffy rice cooked in a rich sauce of roasted tomatoes, peppers & aromatic spices. A hit at my supper clubs from Lagos to London. This popular West African dish has been the subject of many recipe wars including one with Jamie Oliver. gf/nf/v

SWEET

Chocolate Orange Cakes with Hibiscus Flower Syrup

Oh how I love chocolate. This is a new recipe I just worked on, a sticky chocolate cake with orange glaze, and a syrup made from hibiscus flowers. gf/v on request

A full bar with a great selection is available at the venue with extra charges. Please see website for more.
