Badger & Thyme is new on the Brighton food scene but founder and head chef Phoebe Valentine has high hopes and big dreams.
The starting concept is that of sharing. Experiences are always better when shared with friends, family and loved ones and that certainly includes food. For the first supper club, each course will be a selection of small dishes served into the centre of the table. An array of different flavours, textures and colours – all to be squabbled over. Amicably of course.
Meet the chef
“Chef feels like a bit of an over glorification really. I’m just passionate about good vegan food and sharing that with anyone who’ll let me.
I’ve always loved food. Well, the consuming side of it anyway. I was never that interested in the making, baking and creation side of things until I went vegan four years ago. Gone were the days of ready meals and grabbing cookies at my local. Suddenly I was forced to bake my own goodies and make dinners from scratch. I started discovering all sorts of foods and flavours I’d never experienced before and had to learn to approach food in a different way.
I have high hopes for Badger & Thyme and am determined to make it a success. I hope you will share in this journey with me and I’ll see you at my first event!”

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
