Deciding to open up shop in his hometown, Ben Taylor's Little Blackwood is a charming restaurant just outside of Birmingham. Cosy interiors and cute additions are paired with a well-thought-out wine and drinks list, providing all the makings for a great night before you've even opened the food menu. But that also doesn't disappoint. Unconventional fusion dishes include BBQ red mullet with wasabi and spiced bubble and squeak cake, before finishing with a white chocolate and miso parfait.
