Known locally as the 'yummy Brummie', Glynn Purnell is one of the most popular chefs in the city. After training with the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Gary Rhodes and Claude Bosi, Glynn travelled abroad to work with renowned chefs across Europe - and now heads up his eponymous restaurant.

Serving contemporary plates in the chic surrounds of its dining room, this sleek eatery has earned a Michelin star for its 10-course tasting menus, chef's table small plates (which Purnell calls 'Brummie tapas'), and sophisticated cooking.
