From heading up the kitchen at Craft Dining Rooms to serving as executive chef at Sosban in Wales, Andrew Sheridan has shown no signs of slowing down. And for the chef's latest endeavour? He's setting up shop in the ICC on Centenary Square for his brand new restaurant, 8.

As the name would suggest, the concept centres around 8 courses. Dishes go by the name of 'Square Root of 8' - a pistachio and celeriac number - and 'Eight Days a Week' which pairs scallops with apple. For dessert? There's a mint chocolate dish named '8.01'... you get the gist.

Quite conveniently, the 16-cover restaurant will initially open with a reduced capacity for 8 diners in line with government safety regulations. Fancy getting a taste for yourself? Book ahead for an evening sitting at 8pm, with each set menu priced at £88.
