What they say:

If there’s one thing we can never get enough of, it’s Sensations crisps. They’re real good. If there’s another thing we can never get enough of, it’s pints. So it’s a good job Pint Shop are planning on opening their latest venture in Birmingham, after two successful venues in Oxford and Cambridge. These purveyors of craft beer are eyeing up a spot in the Grade II listed building on 38 Bennetts Hill that dates back to the 1860s, split between a general bar area and a sit-down section for dining.

What we say:

It’s not all about the craft beers at Pint Shop, despite the name. They also have a menu of seasonal British food, which happens to be spectacularly meat-heavy. Expect to find coal-baked flatbread kebabs, charcoal spit roast and charcoal grilled meats from the kitchen. Even the small plates feature meat, with dishes like smoked and charred pork riblets with BBQ sauce and winter slaw. Meanwhile, to drink they have a rotating cast of beers, but also cocktails, gins, whiskies and wines.
