Award-winning performer Tracey Collins (Shell Suit Cher, Elvis Lesley, Audrey Heartburn) brings her latest musical comedy creation to the bingo stage in Moody Judy Garlaaand: Somewhere Over the Bingo.
Judy Garland is back. But this time, she’s discovered The Smiths… and she’s not OK.
In this wonderfully warped reimagining of the legendary Hollywood icon, Judy has found herself lost somewhere between Somewhere Over the Rainbow and the Manchester melancholy of Morrissey. Expect cult classics, cabaret confessions, high leg kicks and enough emotional damage to fill the Albert Hall.
But this isn’t just comedy and songs. Moody Judy is taking over the bingo! Get ready for epic games, outrageous prizes, questionable showbiz wisdom and all the chaos you’ve come to expect from a Tracey Collins bingo night.
Will Judy find happiness? Probably not. Will she find a full house? There’s only one way to find out.
So grab your dabber, put on your ruby slippers and join Moody Judy for a night of bingo, ballads and beautiful misery.
Somewhere over the bingo… there’s a prize waiting for
you.
★★★★★ 'The queen of character comedy’ - To Do List
★★★★★' A relentlessly
infectious, warmly entertaining comedian. The energetically
engaging Collins is superb. It isn’t long before the audience is as
wired as she is.'
- British Theatre Guide
★★★★★ ‘Chaotic, rip-roaring, and at times surreal, but always superbly entertaining!’
