‘Refreshing and slick’ One4Review
‘Powerful tone of feminism’ Bunbury Magazine
‘5 star comedian’ Mumble
Anecdotes retracing Murphy’s steps, which took her from corduroys and football shirts, to feathers, tits and teeth. Told with her unique charm and observation, tales of a childhood spent in suburban essex will merge with a professional dance career, and life now as an ex-showgirl. Increasingly aware of her mortality, and the rate of change in the world, Abbie tries to figure out her next move, in a bid to reach the enviable state of contentment. Observational comedy, relatable for the many and not for the few.
‘Beg Borrow & Bitch'
‘Takes old-fashioned British camp retro 80’s nostalgia and a slightly demonic creepiness and brews a wholly original concoction’ The Wee Review
‘Excessively Silly’, You will probably love it ‘Surreal’ Mumble
Alternative sketch comedy from duo Hunt & Murphy, 'Beg Borrow & Bitch' is a high octane, 80’s inspired, dark comedy sketch show! Think ‘Dynasty’ and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race on Steroids, all set in the power dressed world of Cassandra Hunt and Cynthia Murphy, co-founders and CEO’s of worldwide franchise phenomenon: Two Faced Bitchin’™️.
80s icons Cindy & Cassandra, power-dressed business women and co-hosts of America’s no.1 feminist shopping channel Two Faced Bitchin’. After their hit show gets axed from the air, ego’s are bruised, fear sets in and the claws come out, but will these two work together or go it solo? The bitches descend into chaos to reclaim their fame and fortune - Think Dynasty on steroids, or RuPaul’s Drag Race in the 80’s and you’re halfway there!
So, if you like your comedy alternative, are a fan of retro kitsch, and enjoy a session of interpretive dance, then this is the show for you.
