Nestled on the banks of Camden's canal and right in the heart of Camden Market, Lock 17 Bar is a fantastic place to unwind with a glass of your favourite drink. Consisting of The Market Bar, Terrace, Live music venue the Dingwalls and Highlight Comedy Club, this idyllic venue is perfect for a night out in Camden.

Lock 17 is the typical local Camden venue, with a mix of indie rock and hip-hop played loud over the customers in the bar. It has two levels; downstairs there is a small bar with more seating next to the outside terrace and additional couches and tables occupy the gallery area that overlooks the bar.

A popular spot amongst locals, there's so much on offer here. The menu offers a good mix of reasonably priced sandwiches, salads and classic pub grub. The centrepiece of this North London hangout is its well stocked bar. Alongside all the usual liquid treats that you'd expect to find, there's a compelling list of locally-brewed ales, ciders and beers to gulp down. Completing the experience, there's always a number of enticing deals and offers in operation.

Ive only ever been here for a quiet drink so not sure what the atmosphere is later at night be it was perfect for my needs. Quiet enough to be able to have a catch up but also has enough buzz to not feel completely secluded. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly.

Lovely in the summer, spring and autumn because of the lovely rooftop terrace. Been on dates, drinks with friends. Always had a good time. The cocktails are delicious and not too expensive for london. £6.50 for a mojito is hard to find in London. Deeply recommend it.

One of my favourite bars in camden purely for the lovely view and setting right on the regents canal. Watch the world go by, take in the buzz of atmosphere and sink a nice cold cider.
