Not only that, but they're serving up a cocktail list from the award-winning Liquor & Co team, as well as playing host to resident kitchens. Shuffleboard, pétanque, and seasonal pop-ups like curling or cinema nights are also on the cards.

The Botanist, Chester

Found smack bang in the centre of town, The Botanist is a top spot to wet the whistle. Boasting cute, antique-style interiors, it really is a pretty space to knock back signature cocktails, bottled beers and wine, with plenty of food to pair with. The menu features the joint's world-famous hanging kebabs, light snacks like a Cumberland scotch egg with HP sauce, and delicious desserts like some indulgent cookie dough. 

North Light

North Light is a buzzing community bar found in the heart of Chester. Its walls feature creative artwork and its interiors are warm, with low-hanging lights and plenty of plants scattered about. From Thursday 'til Saturday you'll find a DJ getting the party started and all through the week you'll be able to enjoy Mediterranean small plates, plus cocktails like the gin-based Strawberry Breeze for under a tenner.

popular among locals and tourists alike, the Town Crier can be found on City Road. They serve Cask Mark Accredited Ales here, alongside a tasty menu of hearty burgers, all-day breakfasts and chicken tikka masala - with a £6.50 lunch deal up for grabs too.

They're best known for their spacious beer garden that's perfect for the summer months, while the interior promises cosy seating, wooden tables and lots of natural light.

Cosy Club Chester

A truly stunning spot for food and drink, Cosy Club can be found within the Coachworks Arcade. Expect gorgeous interiors, made up of dark blue tiled walls, warm golden lighting and polished wooden furniture, with comfy booths to relax in with a cocktail or two.
