Dying for some delicious Indian food? Look no further. Created by sibling duo, Yousef and Hibah Mahmood, the restaurant Wazwān is showcasing traditional Kashmiri cuisine, alongside its sister cocktail bar, Hungāma located in Leopold Square. It’s no surprise the owners have made a splash onto the culinary scene as their grandparents were the brains behind the award-winning Aagrah group back in 1977. Plus each dish has been tried and tested with grandma's approval - what could be better than that?

Get settled into their wooden tables or red plush booths for a cultural journey of a meal. For something nice and meaty, order the Nihāri, a juicy lamb chop bathed in a stew of ginger, garlic and spice blend or try a classic chicken tikka masala. The place also serves vegetarian-friendly options such as the Thowm Wali Sabzi, which is a mix of veggies cooked with herbs, garlic and a pungent coriander flavour.

Order the prettiest tipples from its connected bar, Hungāma such as the Qahwa Martini, which is pressed espresso, shaken with Absolut Vanilla and an aromatic spice blend. A luxurious sip sure to liven you up. Or choose from a list of mocktails such as the appropriately named Grown Up, a mix of muddled apple and pomegranate and garnished with an elderflower.
