Run by Secret Adventures, this event is a special outdoor screening series featuring four award-winning short films. The programme was handpicked to make for an adrenaline-fuelled night under the stars. To get there, you'll make your way through Basildon Park's woodland before arriving at the unique open-air cinema.
Where Is Basildon Park?
Basildon Park is a beautifully restored National Trust estate near Reading in Berkshire. Located around 30 minutes from London by train, the historic property has sweeping views with a beautiful woodland and rolling hills.

What Films Will Be Shown?
The programme includes:
- Johanna Under Ice: following a world-record freediver beneath Arctic ice. 4 minutes.
- Of a Lifetime: a family adventure sailing to Antarctica to tackle extreme mountain descents. 45 minutes.
- Danny Daycare: mountain biking legend Danny Macaskill takes children on an unforgettable ride through Scotland. 4 minutes.
- And Then We Swam: the remarkable true story of two friends rowing across the Indian Ocean with no experience. 37 minutes.
Will There Be Food And Drinks?
Yes, Indian street food vendor Gully will be on site, and you can also purchase ice creams, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages throughout the evening.

Tickets to the adventure film screening in Basildon Park are available in two tiers:
- Bring your own chair/blanket: £20
- Sit in a provided deckchair: £30
