Michelin star chef Alex Bond has opened a new fried chicken restaurant in Nottingham city centre right next door to his fine-dining haunt, Alchemilla. And spoiler alert: it's a cracking good time. Situated on Derby Road, Mollis boasts a trendy and casual atmosphere, complete with hip-hop tunes and graffiti walls.

Expect innovative takes on poultry plates, including their charcoal-buttered chicken or for something a little quirky, snag the gochujang Buffalo chicken paired with blue cheese and pineapple. Other eats range from five spiced cashews and miso BBQ hash browns to bean burgers and unique ice cream flavours – think Jerusalem artichoke. When you get a bit thirsty, the venue showcases a plethora of kooky drinks to choose from.
