When it comes to restaurants in Beeston, the pasta-bilities are endless. Ottimo is the latest Italian haunt to hit the city, and we've got a good feeling about this one. With chef Keelan Burton and creative directors Nick Parker and Ross Considin behind the gorgeous new spot, the trio wanted to create a modern take on a bakehouse in Italy. A namesake meaning 'optimal' and 'the best possible', the eatery promises a real treat - crust them.

Boasting gorgeous hanging lights, an open kitchen, and a quaint ambience, the venue is perfect for date nights and catch-ups with pals. So what’s on the menu? Start off with innovative bites such as the ever-so-fancy aubergine caviar bruschetta. Alongside wood-fired pizzas, you can get your hands on sumptuous mains, from creamy seafood risotto to chicken supreme stuffed with mozzarella. Plus, there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options – we think the cauliflower parmigiana is particularly sublime. Your evening wouldn’t be complete without a drink; opt for something casual like a bottle of Moretti or pair your meal with a glass of red.
