Buraans

If you’re on the hunt for some of the best restaurants in Nottingham, Buraans is taking inspiration from cities such as Bangkok and Mumbai to create modern Indian dishes. Situated on High Street, the venue is fab for those who crave the spicier things in life. While chowing down on veggie samosas and onion bhajis, you can choose from sumptuous mains – the chicken tikka medley is heavenly.

Cross Keys

We’re also including one of the cosiest pubs in Arnold, and that’s the Cross Keys. The casual dining spot is a great boozer for catching the latest sports fixture whether it be golf, rugby and football. Settle in with a freshly-pulled pint and choose from a menu of British classics – we mean nachos and burgers. Plus, the venue hosts plenty of cracking events, including karaoke nights and bingo games.

Tamasha

Just a short 5-minute drive away from Arnold, Tamasha is one of the best places to eat in Mapperley. Heck, it’s worth it for the floral décor alone. At the helms of award-winning chefs from the likes of Thailand, Dubai and India, the Asian fusion restaurant whips up scrumptious grills and sublime sushi rolls. You can also get 3 tapas for £23; we think the crab cakes, chilli garlic prawns and saffron scallops make quite the trio.

Emilio’s Greek Restaurant

For moreish Greek dishes, quirky interiors and one of the most affordable places on our list, Emilio’s Greek Restaurant is a great shout. Munch on courgette strips served with a garlic dip (a Mediterranean take on fries) or opt for an ooey-gooey moussaka with bechamel sauce. The sweet-toothed can also wolf down baklava for less than £4 - can it get any feta?

Emilios is hands down one of the best restaurants in Arnold.

Parkside Restaurant

Situated inside the Bestwood Lodge Hotel, Parkside Restaurant dons hand-painted ceilings, stunning chandeliers, and a pretty garden. The traditional haunt fronts a menu of fine dining cuisine, including braised shanks of lamb and roasted salmon, alongside a wide selection of vino. It comes as no surprise that it's one of the more hidden gems when it comes to restaurants near Arnold, but nonetheless, great for family meals and cute dinners with friends.

Istanbul Restaurant

Time to transport to Turkey. One of the best places to eat in Arnold, Istanbul Restaurant is serving up terrific Turkish cuisine, alongside classic cocktails. Cooked using hot coal, their meats are used in a variety of savoury lamb and chicken dishes. And if you want a signature tipple, the Istanbul special is a heady mix of tiki rum, pineapple juice, sugar syrup, mint and a wee squeeze of lime.
