MPW Champagne Bar - Bar Review

Glitz, glamour and endless glasses of bubbly...it could only be the Marco Pierre White Champagne Bar. Having just decked out their Laurent Perrier laden location in furthermore plush refinery this April, we checked out what had been done with this sought after space.

The Venue

Set at the top of The Cube and but a mere walk away from Marco's very own steak restaurant (in the same building I should add), this bar boasts stunning and exclusive views of Birmingham, all 360 degrees of them. In my opinion? It's worth a visit just to look out over the city's skyline, and it'd be rude not to have a glass or two of bubbly whilst you're here too, right? The glamour doesn't stop when you're inside either...plush seating, a sleek bar and an all-black interior complete what is one of Birmingham's stylish bars where grand open spaces and mirrored surfaces make ever for a swish location. Toting a baby grand and VIP spaces, this champagne bar really proved to me that the city isn't devoid of dazzling drinking dens.

High end and boasting sky-high views, this happens to be one of the most unique champagne bars in the city.

The Drinks

Serving only the best of the best, guests can enjoy one of the worlds most renowned champagne brands here, Laurent Perrier of course. As expected, the product matched its label and went down a treat in such exclusive surroundings. But don't worry if bubbly isn't your bag, serving an avid selection of freshly prepared cocktails such as Espresso Martinis and Mojitos, this champagne bar proved that it can cater for many a palate. Be prepared to splash the cash when you come here though as prices neck in at the higher end, with tipples the likes of a glass of Laurent Perrier Brut coming in at the £10.50 mark; but for a special occasion, I think it certainly fits the bill.

Plush, and somewhat pricey tipples, for a student budget at least, are the name of the game at this unique and bubbly faring bar.

The Atmosphere

With an air of sophistication and an exciting buzz, this champagne bar certainly has a wow-factor that its guests clamber after. It's a haven for Birmingham's finest and comes hot to trot with a selection of plush high heels and distinguished guests, but don't let this put you off visiting; we were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived, and quickly settled into the easy, relaxed atmosphere for the night. This champagne bar definitely owes a lot of its atmosphere to location, as talk was more than often plotted around the bars stunning skyline views and rooftop retreat.

Having undergone a makeover, the MPW Champagne Bar has only gotten better in my opinion. Visit this stylish bar soon to enjoy the fantastic views and sip on the finest champagne, particularly if you're celebrating a birthday. Heck, every day feels like your birthday when you're supping in a bar such as this one.
