CALLING ALL DOG OWNERS! We have a special day planned for you and your furry friends on Sunday the 18th of December! We’re very excited to be working with Pick N Tricks - local purveyors of luxury dog treats - to bring you a day out you and your doggies will not forget!
Here’s what we’ve got planned for you and your pups…
🐶11:15AM - GROUP DOG WALK AT ANGEL MEADOWS🌳
Meet us at Angel Meadows for a run round the park, it’s also the perfect oppawtunity to meet other local dogs and their owners
🦴12 NOON - DOG TREAT TREASURE HUNT AT GRUB🐕
We’ll be sauntering up to GRUB in time for midday where your pups can take part in a Dog Treat Treasure Hunt around the garden - we’ll have hidden a bounty of luxury dog treats from Pick N Tricks in all the nooks and crannies ready to be sniffed out.
🎞12:30PM - DOGGY CINEMA SCREENING OF ‘PICK OF THE LITTER - A DOGUMENTARY’🍿
Settle in for a cinema screening in our cosy 100 seater cinema - Chapeltown Picture House. We can’t wait to show this enchanting film ‘Pick of The Litter’ (see below for the synopsis!) All doggies will be given a luxury treat bag from Pick N Tricks to take into the movie with them so the humans can eat their popcorn in peace!
ABOUT ‘PICK OF THE LITTER - A DOGUMENTARY’
Pick of the Litter follows a litter of puppies from the moment they're born and begin their quest to become Guide Dogs for the Blind, the ultimate canine career. Cameras follow these pups through a two-year odyssey as they train to become dogs whose ultimate responsibility is to protect their blind partners from harm. Along the way, the dogs meet a community of dedicated individuals who train them to do amazing, life-changing things in the service of their human. The stakes are high and not every dog can make the cut.
The movie had a positive reception from critics, scoring 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads, "Pick of the Litter has all the fluffy adorableness audiences expect from a puppy documentary, along with a story that's as edifying as it is heartwarming.”
Tickets are £15 which includes all the activities, a luxury treat bag from Pick N Tricks for the cinema plus tickets for one doggy and one human to the cinema for the Pick Of The Litter screening. Tickets to bring in an extra human or cinema-only tickets can be purchased for £5.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
