Great night, good selection of bars, with great drinks and some nice food, could do with a bit more choice. Could also do with some different music, too much dance, could do with some old school cheese! Stuart visited Old Granada Studios on 04 Apr 2016

Another fab night, the cocktails were even better than last year and the venue was also great. Music was the best dance mix Ive heard in ages. Only one problem, the food, 25 minutes to queue for a £6 mac n cheese toasty, to find out it came from a cheap 40p can and it was cold...I will eat before next year! Amazing! Fantastic value, would definitely recommend. Didn't have any problems with queues, cocktails amazing, lots of free samples and every contributor had made a real effort. Tick Tock Unlock was fabulous and I want to apologise to the poor actor we had to free. Can't wait for next year Joanne visited Old Granada Studios on 10 May 2016

Brilliant night! Gorgeous cocktails! very fun atmosphere and funky music was also really good value for money. Will defiantly go again next year. *Only downside was the queues for food. vikki visited Old Granada Studios on 05 May 2016

Fantastic value for money, stunning cocktails, and most importantly, lots of free tasters and fun things to do 😊 even better than last year's! The only downside was the food - very tasty, but the insistence of every stall to 'cook to order' meant it took ten minutes for each meal to be painstakingly prepared, one at a time. This meant huge queues and a 40minute wait for so called 'fast food' Laura visited Old Granada Studios on 13 May 2016

First time visit, got in early and this looked like a good idea. As the night went on the queues got longer and longer. But that aside it was a great night. Up for it again next year. Neil visited Old Granada Studios on 13 May 2016

Had a great night, i'd echo the issues of previous reviewers and say we needed more food stalls in a better area as the queues were crazy. Free rum ice cream as we waited to get in was brilliant, and some bars (Elixir always coming through) even gave a few drinks away. Great time had by all, would definitely return. Last year we got 2 free drinks tokens with our entry though, this year only one - just saying... Jen visited Old Granada Studios on 04 Apr 2016

Fantastic!!! Great night.. Def recommend to friend and will be booking next year! The only thing would like to see is more food stalls! Ques too long... Also mabe if tokens where slightly less or say buy so many get one free? Other than that! Amazing James visited Old Granada Studios on 20 Apr 2016

Great fun night, in a cool location. Each bar had one or sometimes a couple of cocktails to try. Some bars had little fun add ons with your drink vodka ice cream, a shot at a lucky wheel (we won a meal for two!)! There was a virtual reality head set that people could try and crazy ultra violet golf! I didn't try the food served there but it smelled good. All in all, I'd go back next year. It's perfect to start your night out too as it closes at 11pm. Suzanne visited Old Granada Studios on 06 May 2016

Fab night! Great cocktails and a good chance to discover new bars and drinks that you may not have previously tried. The only downside was the food queue and price, although that was no big deal as the event was aimed at the cocktails being the star of the show. Would definitely go again! The night was quite weird as you was left to your own devices with not much direction so I felt quite lost as you got a free token at the door but then no one told us about where to buy more token for drinks or neither it was signed posted there not enough entertainment for the price of paying in it seemed it would be better to do your own cocktail crawl around Manchester and have a more variety instead of only having 2/3 cocktails to try from each stall The food was stupidly exsepnsive six pounds fifty for a toasty as the description said about almost famous burgers thought they would be doing them The night wasn't really set up properly as it seemed unfinished and rushed with the design of the lay out as they could of done lots more with the space they had We got told that there where more venders on the Thursday night then the Friday night so felt like we was ripped off Overview of the night Unfinished planning and completion of work Not a good variety of cocktails Entertainment wasn't very good and exsepnsive like escape room not enough clues and was over also had a power cut so had to use our phones as torches and junk yard golf too small and you had to buy a cocktail slushies to play Overall I think they need to have more planning and find a more unique smaller venue to make it more or a atmosphere to the night Danny visited Old Granada Studios on 15 May 2016

Good Morning Danny, Thank you for taking the time to leave such in-depth feedback and would like to address each issue: Arrival and Cocktail Token: Apologies if you were not briefed about the evening, reception had been good at it when I was with them - on occasion as the queues got bigger we did just get people straight in so people weren't in the rain. Cocktail Token location was in the show guide and floor plan but we could have put in more signage and can do that next year. A ticket of £12 including a cocktail for £6.50. The remaining £5.50 helps to pay for the venue, DJ, staff etc. I do question the comment about the lack of variety of cocktails, we had 23 of Manchester's top bars their all with a couple of drinks to choose from. There were not more food vendors there on Thursday, there were different ones but not more. We will address the food situation as completely agree it was unsatisfactory, we had issues with power and the token system to make it easier to pay for everything didn't work for the food as the options were too varied for one price point - we will address this in 2016. It is a large venue as you mentioned which we hoped would prevent any overcrowding which I think did work but we will look at how we pull together the different areas. If you have some ideas and recommendations on what you would do with the space would really appreciate your input. I feel a cocktail and three holes of golf for £6.50 is fair as essentially the golf is free with the drink which is not a bad "added extra" it had been funded by a tequila brand and so that is why the golf was connected with the cocktail. Sorry you didn't have a great night, we will take on board all your feedback although we do strongly feel that the £5.50 supplement above the price of the cocktail is fair (and also necessary for us to host the event. My email is if you would like to email some ideas and suggestions and look forward to hearing from you. Have a lovely day and again apologies it took a couple of days to reply. Kind regards Andrew

Great event the cocktails were amazing. The queues for the food were very long. More food options spread out would have been better. Didn't see the actors that were supposed to be there. jriley visited Old Granada Studios on 22 Mar 2016

Absolutely fantastic night out. all staff very friendly even making non-alcoholic ones for our nominated driver. Nice to see water available. Food choices good but queues not too good , maybe a bigger area for them next year to save on the waiting times . Juliet visited Old Granada Studios on 13 May 2016

CITCMCR was amazing, had such a fun filled evening. The cocktails were exceptional together with a great atmosphere. It would be great to have a few snacks available at each of the bars to compliment the cocktails next time. See you next year for sure Arti visited Old Granada Studios on 09 Apr 2016

Disappointed of the excess of gin at the bars and lack of vodka. The variety of spirits should be more diverse. Nevertheless much better venue than last year and much more fun. The first Masterclass i attended was a dissapointment. Don't make cocktails and not let the audience at least taste, hence why half of the audience was lost. Definitely coming again nevertheless.
