Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer struck up a friendship as high school freshmen in New Orleans, La. After their original band - The Eames Era - broke down in 2007, the band decided to rebuild themselves as Generationals. After releasing Con Law in 2009, its retro vibe clearly channeled Phil Spector's mid-century pop, but Generationals' influences always ran the gamut, with pieces of britpop, dance and electronic. Catch the band gracing the stage at Northern Quarter's legendary Castle Hotel on Thursday 8th August. This is one not to be missed!
