Soul Purpose returns after a fantastic launch with the iconic Dimitri from Paris and his take on disco with soul.
Each month Soul Purpose provides a cool crowd and completely unrivalled music policy, showcasing the biggest names on the DJ scene, combining a hint of soul with the genres the DJ’s are most famous for.
This time we return with RnB King, Trevor Nelson. Trevor will bring the slick, smooth style of ‘The Trevor Nelson Collection’ to the most stylish venue in Manchester.
Known as a pioneer in the UK urban scene, Trevor is an iconic figure with RnB fans worldwide. From humble beginnings on Kiss FM, to his current work on The Soul Show… and who can forget MTV’s legendary show ‘The Lick.’ Trevor has had a hugely successful DJ career, both in the studio and behind the decks.
Trevor Nelson is a true music enthusiast and wants his audience to share his passion. His skill has always been in the blend of music; a roll call from the past three decades’ contemporary soul hits. With the likes of Usher ‘You remind me’ to Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock with you’ and classics such as Lucy Pearl’s ‘Don’t mess with my man’ Trevor will keep the dance floor jam packed all night long with ‘A night of classic RnB.’
This is your chance to listen to some fantastically soulful and beautifully crafted mixes from the 4x Mobo award winning DJ in this sophisticated and intimate venue.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
