Vibes and music was perfect Food was spot on too 🙏🏽

A great concept but so poorly executed - everything was late. It states on the entrance email to arrive before 1 as there would be queues. Arrived at 12:50 and there was a little bit of a queue but not too bad. Despite this, they didn’t start letting people in until 1:20 even though the event is supposed to start at 1. Then once we were in it was going good, they servers were consistent with coming around with the rum punch which was good considering it was bottomless for the first hour. The music was great and we were loving it. Then around 2:30 they announced that food would start to come out. On the schedule sent it said food would be served between 1:30-3:30 so this seemed a little late but reasonable - considering it’s called a “brunch” and you’re getting served drink I was expecting the food to come earlier so people could eat before getting a drink and before it was opened for the party section of the night and other guests would arrive. The food serving was a nightmare. They were serving one table at a time starting at table 1 and working their way down. We were table 20 (the last table in the place) and it ended up being 4:30pm before we all got our food. This is ridiculous! A 2 hour wait for food and it being served near enough dinner time when it’s supposed to be a brunch is a joke. Everyone was starving at this point and had asked multiple times where our food was with no real resolution other than waiting it out. The food was nice but at this point we were all just annoyed and couldn’t even enjoy the food. While this was all happening some how the music transitioned to garage, grime, chart hits, etc. which would have been fine in any other circumstance but it’s literally labelled an old school R&B brunch? They played old school R&B for around 2 hours and then it was just anything after that, no R&B in sight. This was so disappointing as the main appeal was the fact they would play old school R&B. I was hoping to go back to another date but I won’t be back after this experience, the first 2 hours were great and after that it was terrible. Not worth the £35 at all and there’s no point being there after 3pm as it all goes downhill. We ended up leaving after finally getting our food at 4:30 when the event was due to finish at 6pm.
