Description
Crabbish is the first Louisiana-style seafood boil restaurant to land in Manchester, and it brings all the foodie delights from the deep south of America to Salford in the form of crab, shrimp and crawfish boils. The ever-popular dish fuses together cayenne pepper lemons, hot sauce, salt and bay leaves as well as a piping hot pot of shellfish.
First, you're given the option to choose your seafood. Pick from a range of crab, calamari, lobster, shrimp and clams before deciding on your sauce and spice level. You can opt for the traditional salt and pepper boil, but there's also the option to push the boat out and go for the garlic butter or cajun options. The spice level also ranges from mild to extra hot, depending on your bravery.
Be warned, the portion sizes are generous so be sure to turn up on an empty stomach. And if you're wanting to book in for a big group, the 'Golden Bucket' would be the perfect pick - think one whole lobster, four lobster tails, 50 wild head on shrimp, four king crab clusters plus so much more. You have to see it to believe it.
