Named after American writer Damon Runyon, Runyon’s is the sleek New York-style restaurant that’s set to open within Manchester’s shiny new Hotel Brooklyn.

From the team behind Gotham, this contemporary eatery will be the jewel in the hotel’s crown - boasting industrial interiors inspired by the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and the cityscape beyond. Exposed brick walls and copper fixtures will be softened with comfy leather armchairs and velvet soft furnishings.

And in the kitchen? A selection of classic British dishes will be given an American-style revamp - think Brooklyn style fish and chips, with a spiced cornmeal batter, or roast Tomahawk pork chop served with maple bacon cassoulet beans and curry-spiced apple. Luckily a trip to this place will be much cheaper than return tickets to the Big Apple, with mains mostly sitting around the £16 mark.
