Gordon Ramsay's Michelin Recommended Asian Restaurant Arrives In Manchester Next Month

He's finally arrived. The wait is over for our favourite (albeit a little bit savage) Scottish celeb chef to come to Manchester. Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay will open on King Street next month, dishing up a whole load of pan-Asian fare that's already landed the Mayfair location a mention in the Michelin Guide.

While the exact look of the restaurant is being kept under wraps for now, we're assured it'll have much of the same star appeal as its London counterpart. There's the banking floor as the main space, a show-stopping upper mezzanine to match and even private dining vaults in the basement - all paying homage to the building's art deco design. Moody, dark tones inspired by 1930s Tokyo is already the signature style for the first venue, so expect a similar finish here.

But it's not just interiors to gawk at. The bonito fried duck leg bao with spicy hoisin come recommended by Gordon himself, while the rest of the impeccably presented (and tasty) menu spans salmon avo rolls, chirashi ceviche in sweetcorn hot sauce, Thai short rib and more. To accompany? Okinawa margs - beaut numbers made from tequila, shikuwasa citrus liqueur, Supawasa and Thai basil. To mix things up, you can even roll a dice and decide which of six unique negroni flavours seals your fate.
