Description
Tucked inside a tall, townhouse near Albert Square, 10 Tib Lane unfolds across three intimate floors: a ground‑floor cocktail bar with deep wood tones and soft, amber lighting; a mid‑level dining room of compact tables and heavy timber floors; and a snug top‑floor space that feels like a private hideaway. The look is understated - exposed brick, warm panelling, candle‑glow - letting the food and drink do the talking.
Their ethos is “classic cocktails, natural wine and seasonal sharing plates”. Expect oysters (often a £1 happy‑hour steal), monkfish or sea bream crudo, mustardy steak tartare, and bigger cuts like ex‑dairy ribeye or pork chop, plus a Sunday roast that’s all about quality trimmings and proper gravy. The opening food direction came from Alex Shaw (former MFDF Chef of the Year), and the venue itself is a collaboration between two Manchester stalwarts: the team behind Henry C in Chorlton and the Northern Quarter’s Cocktail Beer Ramen + Bun, so the drinks list is as dialled‑in as the menu. It's well-worth a visit for cocktails or small plates.
