What they say:
A delish-double marinated endeavour from Leeds' Bird and Beast, this overtly popular chicken concept restaurant lands in Manchester in Early 2015, basted birds in tow. Raising the pecking order for chicken orientated restaurants in Manchester, Bird and Beast will be taking £750, 000 to a 4,000 square foot plot in the heart of the city where signature rubs, a new Bird and Beats bar concept and free range chickens will come as standard.
What we say:
While we barely want to extend comments on this new restaurant bar in regard to Nando's, it could be Bird and Beast's only contender. Will the giant, dare we say it, finally be beaten? With Sykes House Farms on their side, and a Birds and Beats bar concept to be launched alongside, we're optimistic. And not only are we excited about a sensibly sourced chicken destination in Manchester, we're excited about a poultry palace whose innards look akin to something that you may find upon the streets of the Northern Quarter, with a gentrified edge.
