Northern Soul Night: In aid of The Christie Charity

Dust off your dance moves this Bank Holiday Sunday and come down for Scoot 'n' Scoop a Northern Soul Night all in aid of the Christie.  Taking place on Sunday 24^th from 7pm.  Always a fun crowd and always good night, keeping northern soul alive with the love of the music.

The night will see soul time resident DJs Harry Nightingale, Denis Campbell & Paul Robinson playing a mix of back-to-back classics and rare soul. The Horse and Jockey will be transformed into a northern soul venue complete with parquet dance floor for all those spins, splits and kicks.

The Night will also include a raffle where you will be able to win some high-quality prizes donated by local Chorlton and Beech Road businesses.  

The Christie specialise in cancer treatment, research and education. They are the first UK centre to be accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre. As the largest single site cancer centre in Europe treating more than 44,000 patients a year The Horse and Jockey want to help Christies continue their vital work.
