MANCEHSTER - It's been a while.... and we've been missing you!
After a great night on Easter Sunday with the R&B Block Party with Dru Hill, Musiq Soulchild, BLACKStreet, Donell Jones etc etc at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester, we felt we needed to take a break, but now that break has been too long!
So we've decided to return to our favourite little spot in the North West - the beautiful Band On The Wall, and throw our very own Halloween Masquerade Ball on Saturday 26th October!
IT IS NOT A FANCY DRESS PARTY, we don't expect anyone to dress up in a Halloween costume, but we'd love to see as many of you as possible dressed up with masquerade masks if it takes your fancy more EYES WIDE SHUT, than the Munsters :
But as per usual, the night is all about the music.
Main Room hosted by Trevor Nelson playing pure old school vibes from the 70s / 80s & 90s - soul funk RNB etc.
The soundtrack is classic, rnb and soul anthems from the 80s / 90s and 00s - if you're looking for a night that plays new hip hop and rap or even mumble rap, Drake all night etc, then this isn't for you, this party is for the lover of classic rnb and soul - expect to hear Luther and if you think this references Idris Elba's tv character then you're definitely way off track Whitney, Outkast, Destinys Child, to Donnell Jones, Beyonce, TLC, Soul II Soul, Brandy, Dru Hill, 112, Chic, Ja Rule, Usher, SWV, BlacksTreet, oh man the list goes on and on and on, just purely the classics!!!!
Room 2 hosted by Hanif & JusNeil where we will focus more on 90s, 00s & tens HIP HOP & RNB, basement, with some Ayia Napa style garage favourites from the classic Ayia Napa era of 1999-2000s - a bit. more like the MTV Lick Party era.
