11 years ago Twisted Elegance launched with a promised to put the party back into Manchester's clubbing scene and to turn those fading memories into reality with a night of glamour and pure indulgence that paid homage to those who dared to be different. What followed went way beyond expectations, culminating in Twisted Elegance being proclaimed as The New Kings of Glamour on Pete Tong's Essential Selection, having hosted 5 years of the most amazing parties, featuring full production and jaw dropping entertainers, seeing the uber opulent Ampersand transformed from a little know backstreet venue into a hedonistic playground for adults.
Attracting the glamorous and the fabulous from across the UK and Europe, Twisted Elegance became a safe haven for the discerning clubber, celebrities and models, all wanting to their weekly fix of the final ingredient, the perfect soundtrack of driving vocal house laid down by Twisted's co creators Pat Drury and Alan Hartley, alongside a small group of hand picked residents.
Then in 2007, having just celebrated their 5th anniversary, throwing one of their legendary and most memorable themed birthday parties, Twisted Elegance decided to pack up their glitter cannons and leave Ampersand. This unexpected departure caused a shock in clubland and sadness amongst it's followers at the thought that the party was over forever.
Now six years on and 11 years to the day since Twisted Elegance opened the hallowed doors of what became a legendary venue, its time to return home for a very special birthday celebration to the venue formerly known as Ampersand (now Suede) with a promise to once again turn those fading memories into reality again.
Back together for this special event the visionaries and co creators of Twisted Elegance, Pat Drury and Alan Hartley will be your purveyors of musical ecstasy supported by Andy Nics and Adam Taylor, accompanied by live sax from our very own Carl Stanley.
For those that witnessed the multi sensory experience of Twisted Elegances legendary parties, this event promises to be no exception with a full Twisted club makeover and stunning visuals plus angelic bus boys, cyber transvestites and the ever troublesome Twisted Bitches all of which will be primed to whip the dancefloor into the perfect storm.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
