The folks behind the shining gem in the Spinningfields crown, Neighbourhood, have announced plans to continue the overwhelming success of 2013 with the launch of two new ventures and an expansion of another. The top shelf celebrity cocktail group owned by Karina and James Hitchen, has seen immediate success with the American-themed bars Neighbourhood and Southern Eleven, and looks set to continue with the innovative and creative concepts they have built and developed from across the pond, by introducing two new concepts in a top secret speakeasy bar and an American-style brasserie.
The secret speakeasy will be launched on home turf for the Hitchens in the familiar Spinningfields area at the end of March. No details on the name or exact location as of yet, but our New Bar Spy will have ears to the ground, so stay tuned for updates.
The American brasserie is to be launched at an undisclosed location that is further afield from the safety of Spinningfields, a true statement of intent from the duo as they look to expand further into the depths of the rainy city to bring us a delicious slice of American pie.
The expansion comes from the successful Texan-themed Southern Eleven that will be taking over a larger section of Spinningfields through the Brooks Brothers unit and into the Avenue. Big things and exciting times ahead for everyone involved; welcome to the Neighbourhood.
