Deliveroo is building an edible house to celebrate Manchester's love of British food.

Gingerbread houses are so 2017, this festive season, it's all about edible homes made from British classics. Food delivery company Deliveroo are bringing your (weird but delicious) dreams to life with a structure being erected in Media City for two days. Celebrating Manchester's love of British comfort food (the city ranks number one in a Deliveroo survey), the company will be knocking up a foodie paradise, complete with a Yorkshire pudding garden, fish and chips door, roof tiles crafted from beans on toast, and a roasted chicken weather vane. Entrants are then invited to stay in this lip-smacking lodge and chow-down on their choice of UK-inspired dishes, whether that be scotch eggs or pie and mash - all on the house. 

Best of British House will appear in Media City on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th November. Entrants can apply for either a breakfast, lunch or dinner spot until the Friday 23rd November, with successful applicants informed over the weekend.
