Beer blogger 'Beers Manchester' talks Manchester beers in an exclusive tasting session.

The infamous Mancunian scribe - and organiser of The Independent Salford Beer Festival - will introduce five of the most interesting modern Mancunian brews, providing a bit of background behind each beer and each brewer. It includes some real hidden gems from brewers who have become unsung heroes.

He's teamed up with The Brink, a new bar focused on sourcing the best local beers, for the occasion and ticket-holders will receive a half of each beer alongside some tasty pub snacks.

What this man doesn't know about Manchester beer isn't worth knowing.

Absolutely awesome night. Loved the presentation, Kim was on top form and he chose some amazing beers. Great atmosphere and banter too. Every box ticked fully. Can't recommend as was a one off event but had a blast! Visited The Brink on 2016-06-12

A good selection of beers, well presented and in an interesting venue. The event was part of Manchester Beer Week but would happily go to this kind of event as a standalone occurrence.. Visited The Brink on 2016-06-12

Really good afternoon. Excellent showcase of GM Breweries. Beers Manchester passion and knowledge were clearly demonstrated. The Brink is also an excellent venue for this type of event. Would happily attend any other similar events. Visited The Brink on 2016-06-12

What more could you ask for...a superb Sunday afternoon. Great beers, brewers, speech, music, people all in a great bar ! The fact that Jim mentioned meeting me and others for beers in and around Manchester and he didn't use any swear-words was a minor miracle. When's the next one...? Visited The Brink on 2016-06-12
