The Quest is a showcase of best true-life storytellers, handpicked from all the major storytelling clubs from around the UK including The Moth, Spark, Speak Easy, Flashlight, Narativ and Natural Born Storytellers.

Stories are meant to be shared and if you've got a story to tell, you should tell it. This is the foundation of Tellit Festival as we believe that everyone should be given a chance to share their story. We've undertaken The Quest, with the help of the true-life storytelling community, to find some of the best unknown true-life stories and storytellers from around the UK.

Each storytelling club hosted a Round where one storyteller was chosen to take part in this flagship  event of Tellit Festival and draws our week-long programme of true-life storytelling to a close.

Our Storytellers tonight are:

Francesca Alberry
Winner of The Moth's first GrandSLAM final in London in June.

Safiya Kamaria Kinshasa
Chosen by her fellow storytellers at Speak Easy Story Slam in Bristol in August

Tom Kane
Chosen by his fellow storytellers at The Canvas Cafe, London in September.

Ashwini Agrawal
Chosen by his fellow storytellers at Natural Born Storytellers in Camden Town in September.

Ruth Graham
Chosen by a panel at Flashlight in Birmingham in September.

Cecily Nash
Chosen by her fellow storytellers from Narativ. She told a daring story about her 'visit' to the shops.

Charlotte Mooney
Chosen by the audience at Spark in Hackney in October.

Stephen Fabes
Chosen by his fellow storytellers at Tellit Festival in October in Camden Town

Navreet Chawla
We saved one space for a story that wowed Tellit Festival. Navreet's story is our wildcard entry and, we felt, deserved to be told again.

Hosted by Michael Kossew & Kate Walton

With music from Daisy-Beau, a jazz and folk singer, whose beautiful voice and personal songs are woven together with indie rock influenced guitar.
