Tellit Festival presents a brave, honest and funny, heart-warming physical noir performance from newcomer Charmaine Wombwell. Exploring the desperation and humour of heartbreak, inspired by the dark clown within us all. Scarlet’s beautiful tales and earthy sounds reveal the sometimes fleeting connections between people that can make a mark on our lives forever. (She hopes to make her mark on yours).

Charmaine trained at LISPA, a school dedicated to enabling a new generation of performing artists and inspiring a lasting curiosity in life. Charmaine's work is influenced by clown, love, music and the tragic comedy found in the desperation of heartbreak.

Broadway Baby (4 stars) "endearing, funny, and full of humanity… had me in stitches."

Fringe Review (Highly recommended) "an approach to inclusivity that others could learn from… See it now while you can still claim to have discovered a major talent."

The Scotsman "A gifted and natural mime with sharp comic timing, Wombwell expresses emotion, action and a vivid eroticism in captivating style."

Tellit Festival is the UK's first ever festival of true-life storytelling featuring a week of shows, events and workshops across London celebrating 'truth' through various art-forms. For full programme information click here
