Why do we swipe so instinctively?

Why does ghosting feel so common — and so painful?

And why, despite burnout, do we keep coming back?

Join Ideas on Ice, a new London-based talk series, where experts and academics share thought-provoking talks with curious Londoners over aperitivo — including one drink with your ticket, with more available throughout the evening.

In this talk, Vicki Pavitt, relationship coach, attachment styles specialist, and former Dating & Relationship Expert for Match.com - unpacks what’s happening beneath the surface of swiping culture, from choice overload to attachment styles and why hope keeps winning.

Expect:

- 30–40 minute talk

- Informal Q&A with Vicki

- Intimate setting

- One drink included with your ticket

This isn’t a workshop or therapy session, it’s a different kind of night out. One that treats the mind over a drink and leaves you with plenty to talk about afterwards.

Perfect for a solo Monday night out or a catch up with a friend who’s deep in their situationship.

Fewer than 30 spots available.

Accessibility: The venue is accessed via stairs only, get in touch if you have any questions about access.
