A celebration of the summer kitchen garden
Three Girls Cook are back and this time serving up an array of summery delights in Brother Marcus’ sun soaked garden. Balham’s favourite garden café and supper-club haunt is welcoming back the three MasterChef 2017 finalists: Alison, Giovanna and Lorna, aka Three Girls Cook, for a third time. Inspired by all the wonderful produce the summer kitchen garden has to offer, the girls are bringing Londoners a colourful three course menu of tasty seasonal vegetable dishes on the 1st and 2nd June.
The menu is a combination of all things that evoke the British summer. First up is a sweet and juicy tomato tostada with creamy ricotta and a sprinkling of edible flowers on top. The girls will use British tomatoes to tie in with British tomato fortnight. Next will be a family sharing style summer herb frittata using Clarence Court Eggs and lots of veg thrown in, including in season British asparagus. The frittata will be accompanied by an array of vibrant and bright-coloured summer salads, including a carrot, spelt and dukka and a garden pea one, all perfect for sharing. Finally, for the classic British dessert with a twist, the girls will create their take on strawberries and cream using Jersey yoghurt to make homemade ice cream served with strawberries and mint in English sparkling wine.
The supper will take place both inside and out in the garden under the softly twinkling fairy lights on long sharing style tables decorated with an abundance of flowers and candles. Guests will be greeted with some homemade nibbles and a welcome drink while they get to know their neighbour for the evening. The Brother Marcus boys will serve up a special selection of refreshing cocktails and wine that can be bought to accompany the food.
Supper Clubs are meant for sharing, especially when friends Alison, Giovanna and Lorna are involved, so bring your pals, parents and even your grandparents for an evening of sunshine, delectable food and a lively atmosphere. The menu is completely vegetarian (nothing with eyes) but vegans are welcome.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
