Another Dinner club date next week!
Since tickets for the 23rd April are nearly sold out, we have decided to add some further space to our Friday night Dinner Club. Exactly the same format as the Saturday just come straight after work instead and indulge in our 'comfort food' special. All of the familiar, soul-warming dishes you might expect but with a Billy and Jack twist. And with some truly fantastic matching wines, of course.
If you haven’t been to a Dinner Club before, here’s the low-down:
You’ll enjoy a menu of five of our favourite comfort food classics, created with the best seasonal produce. To start, you'll settle in with a welcome drink and we'll serve some delicious wines paired with your meal.
We don't take food or dining out too seriously, so this is your chance to enjoy some of our favourite dishes in a very relaxed environment. You and your party will also be sat at a shared table with other diners - it’s like a dinner party, only the food is better!
Please note that this event offers a set menu that is subject to change. We’re sorry but at this stage we are not able to offer a vegan version of the menu.
All drinks will be provided as part of the menu and will not be available to order on the evening.
We are able to cater for allergies with prior warning but we are not able to cater for dislikes. If you have dietary requirements please let us know when booking tickets or email hello@billyandjack.co.uk
About the venue
Refettorio Felix at St. Cuthbert’s Centre is a collaboration with Chef Massimo Bottura’s non-profit organisation Food for Soul and St. Cuthbert’s Centre.
The charity sustains and supports vulnerable people, helping to relieve poverty, hardship, sickness and distress. Their impact is grounded in the power of a shared meal of outstanding quality made with 100% surplus food and operate an open-door policy.
We’re delighted to support Refettorio Felix at St. Cuthbert’s Centre, and look forward to welcoming you at this incredible venue.
The format
If you haven’t attended a supper club, or one of our events before there are a few ways in which it differs from your usual restaurant experience.
Tables are shared - you and your party will be sat with or next to the other guests. If you are booking for a larger group of 6 or more please email us at hello@billyandjack.co.uk and we will try to place you on a table together.
We offer a set menu with vegetarian options. At this stage we’re sorry that we’re unable to offer vegan options. We can easily cater for dietary requirements with prior notice (when booking tickets or emailing hello@billyandjack.co.uk at least 48 hours before the event) but we are unable to cater for dislikes.
We serve a wine pairing with the dinner; this comprises a welcome drink and four glasses of wine. This is included in the price, no alcohol will be sold on the night and we do not accept BYOB.
A note on Covid and ticket refunds
Please note that while we will encourage guests to be respectful and aware of each other we cannot guarantee social distancing, and you will be sharing a table with other guests.
We ask all guests to take a lateral flow test before the event. We are a small business and pay for our produce upfront and so we cannot guarantee any refunds, however if you are unable to attend, please let us know ASAP and we will always try our best to resell tickets and can offer a refund based on the successful re-sell only.
If the event needs to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions then we will offer a full ticket refund.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
