ANNA MAE GORDON
Anna Mae Gordon is a New York City-based actor and director. Her recent theatre performances include Kylar in Tonya Pinkins' production of Bring it On!, originating the role Claire in Samuel Blue Gibson’s new play, The Consultation with the Actors Circle Ensemble, and dance theatre at the Women's March Reunion NYC with her theatre group, Complicate the World Collective.
Gordon starred in and co-created the pilot episode of her sketch comedy web series, Hot Snacks, which was selected by 8 festivals worldwide (including Seriesfest, T.O. Webfest, and LA Comedy Film Festival). The pilot won 5 awards (including Best Acting Ensemble), and was nominated for 10.
She is a member of The Actors Studio Playwright/ Directors Workshop, currently presenting her original work The Inpatient.
Gordon’s film directing debut, Dressed as Girl, was featured at festivals nation-wide, including Outfest, Portland Film Festival, and NewFest. Notable stage directing credits include Book of Liz by Amy and David Sedaris, Ugly on the Inside by Steven and Whitney Boe, and Intuitively by Aaron Nussdorf for the Off-Broadway venue, Three-Legged Dog Theatre.
Gordon received her MFA in Directing from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University, and her BA in Honours English Drama and Psychology at McGill University. She has trained with the Moscow Art Theatre School in Cambridge Massachussetts, and Upright Citizens Brigade NYC.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
