The Life and Songs of Barbara
Adrien Mastrosimone creates a new show on one of the most haunting French singer. Come and spend the evening in the Life and Songs of BARBARA.
Originally from Marignane in the South of France, Adrien Mastrosimone began his professional career as a dancer with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Switzerland. Adrien’s singing journey started in 2009 when he started working with Internationally acclaimed Countertenor and Professor of Singing, Andrew Watts. He sang his first Endymion in a new production of La Calisto directed by Joe Austin and conducted by Oliver-John Ruthven for Hampstead Garden Opera. He later sang the title role in the all male production of CarMen with Secret Opera Directed by Robin Pieta and conducted by Andrew Charity.
In 2017 Adrien wrote his first sell-out cabaret show for Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club and named it 'Mon Manège à Moi'. This led to adding more dates selling out within days.
In Spring 2018, Adrien returned with a brand new critically acclaimed, show 'Une Vie en Rose' based on the life and songs of Edith Piaf which would run for several sell-out performances and won the Award of Best Music Performance at the Buxton Festival.
