Have you ever noticed how hard it is to imagine an authentic heaven? Try it and you'll wind up with cliché and even banality: wispy clouds, hovering harp angels and spa-day pan pipes playing on an eternal loop. Yet opening your mind to the concept of hell is quite the opposite - we can instantly conjure freaky images of fiery chasms, laughing demons and painful pitchforks jabbed directly to the buttocks. Why is it so easy to imagine one and not the other?

Discover this, and more, as you join Rev Peter Laws for a red-hot dive into the infernal pit! You'll consider the depictions of hell, and ask where does our stereotypical image of ‘hell’ come from? Is it really the Bible, like the hellfire preachers say? Hear the theology of hell, asking if it even exists at all. And if it does...consider the surprising theories of what it might actually be like. And brace yourself for the experience of Hades with a disturbing discussion of Hell visions, including a creepy a.f. look into an often-neglected phenomena: 'Negative Near-Death Experiences.’

From pop culture horror to fiery sermons to medieval art and weird historical visions, get ready to GO TO HELL! as we catch some shocking Glimpses of the Abyss!

Tickets £12 including a delightful gin cocktail and a 20% donation to the Kings Chaplaincy Trust

Awful. Psychic Stevie failed to contact anyone. Which is probably why he cut the show short. It was the hammiest performance I’ve seen. It was like a comedy sketch. Waste of time. Although the setting was beautiful and atmospheric.

Hunt is really good. So fascinating and engaging. I look forward to seeing him again too. So spooky because he has spoken to so many school shooters and his research tells me it can happen anytime.
