Here’s a unique opportunity to enjoy a luxurious twilight picnic amongst 3.5 acres of carefully tended botanic gardens by the Thames.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic alternative to dinner at a restaurant, or simply want to make the most of summer evenings by eating out in the fresh air, the beautifully secluded setting of Chelsea Physic Garden is ideal for socially distanced dining.
With this ticket you’ll arrive (from 6pm) to collect your antipasto hamper, a glass of Chalklands Classic Cuvée and a picnic blanket, then you’re free to explore the exquisite Gardens and find your ideal spot – on a bench by Victorian glasshouses maybe, or under an exotic tree.
The antipasto menu includes cured meats, pecorino cheese, marinated artichokes, Sicilian caponata, Piedmontese peppers, olives and focaccia. Fully vegetarian and vegan options are available on request.
A full bar will be available for further drinks – everything from chilled rosé to Aperol spritz and a rosemary-spiked G&T – until 10pm. Carriages at 10.30pm.
The £35 per person price includes Garden entry, antipasto picnic, glass of English fizz and use of the picnic blanket.
Dates include Wednesday and Thursday evenings throughout August – 26 and 27.
