THE CHEF'S TABLE - FRIDAY 16 NOVEMBER: THE BEST OF WINTER WITH THE RHUG ESTATE
7PM FOR A 7.30PM START
Join us for an exclusive and intimate dinner at The Potting Shed, where Lord Newborough will be joining us from the Rhug Estate, a Welsh Organic 12,500 acre farm that has supplied us with the highest quality organic meats for several years.
Lord Newborough, the owner of the Rhug Estate, in Corwen, Denbighshire, strives towards a more sustainable future. His vision has seen the conversion of the farm to organic, the addition of a large portfolio of renewable energy projects, and continued support for local Welsh produce. At the heart of the Rhug Estate is Lord Newborough’s commitment to an organic lifestyle. The animals are reared in an environment free of any unnecessary antibiotics, growth hormones and other products typically used today.
This three-course dinner will have a strong emphasis on game, and will feature other seasonal delights including winter truffles and fresh root vegetables, including Jerusalem artichokes, squash, pumpkin and beetroot. Each course will be expertly paired with wine selections that perfectly complement the unique flavours within the dishes.
Enjoy the evening in the charming surroundings of The Potting Shed Restaurant at Dorset Square Hotel.
£50 per person, including a three-course dinner with expertly matched wine pairings, as well as a glass of sparkling wine and canapes on arrival.
